Random thoughts #5

 Hi! This is my fifth blog and writing this on an impulsive decision. Time flies so fast and almost two months have passed by. I try to keep myself busy these days in order to avoid unwanted and overwhelming thoughts and feelings. I do not have any idea what to write in this blog, so imma connect whatever coming to my mind at the moment.

The other day our lecturer said that the human gaze cannot be avoided. The human gaze itself is a huge topic to talk about and I'm no expert in that, but it got me thinking about how we cannot escape from it even if we wanted to. A case in point is that people are interested in other people's businesses so much that they take breaks from their problems to look into others. They would gaze up and down at strangers and have opinions and judgments. They would say this is right and that is wrong completely neglecting the idea that most things could be a social construct. I'm not saying I'm not like them, I'm one of them, but I try my best to come out of that loophole.

Anyway, Do you have any favorite lines from a movie, book, song, or whatever? , because I have mine.  Like You watch a movie, drama or song and hear a dialogue, lyrics, or anything and you feel how beautiful that is, like it just exactly describes your thoughts. I even wonder how people come up with such brilliant combinations of words, it's really amazing. I wish I could have noted down the things I heard but didn't. So, I'll just quote my favorites from the movie, Memoirs of a murderer.

I really like the movie, Memoirs of a murderer, directed by Won shin-Yun. The story revolves around Byung Soo who was a serial killer. He now suffers from Alzheimer’s. Byung Soo has a daughter, Eun Hee. He assumes that Eun Hee’s boyfriend approached Eun Hee to kill her. To protect Eun Hee, he fights to keep his memory and he plans to kill Tae Joo.

 I like it when Mr. Kim says, "According to Eun-hee I don't exhibit emotions.To be concise, I don't have emotions. But I do react to humor, but the timing is the problem". 

"Raising a person taken more effort than killing ten"

"when she comes by I want to keep living, I want to end this before I want to live more, Before I forget who I am, No, to forget who I am"

I just like these lines and I don't have any explanation, I'm too lazy to think rn. I know this is a boring blog, but things aren't always fun. So just go with it. Hope y'all have a great week ahead!!!
